Pocket Knives
Pocket knives fall under the category of folding blades. Their blades fit inside the handle. As the name suggests, the whole knife is capable of fitting within the pocket. In length, they are generally no larger than three to five inches.
Many people appreciate pocket knives because they are very versatile. It is very common for them to have multiple blades and other tools. The many different tools allow for many different applications.
Pocket knives have a surprisingly old history. The earliest ones are known to date back to the early iron age at least. For instance, one with a bone handle was discovered in Hallstatt. It dated back to around 600-500 BC.
